Zia Victoria
Talent
Singer-Songwriter
Zia's passion is inspiring others through her music. At eight years old, she wrote a song called “African Sun” to give hope to children living in orphanages. One year later, she had the opportunity to visit an orphanage in South Africa, where she played her song for the kids. Zia has written approximately 50 songs and made her debut on the TODAY show in 2016. Over the past few summers, she has been playing on the streets of NYC to help raise money for different charities. She has raised money for Hope and Heroes, a charity that helps kids with cancer, and for the Novak Djokovic Foundation, which helps kids in Serbia get an education. Zia has released five original songs. All of the proceeds from “Do It For Someone Else” go to the Novak Djokovic Foundation and “Good to Go” and “Taking Flight” proceeds go to Hope and Heroes. Zia strongly believes in kindness, and the idea of ‘paying it forward’. She has also started public speaking and playing her music for several schools and ESF (Education, Sports and Fun) camps around the east coast. She talks about different character traits like kindness, gratitude, resiliency and more. Zia received the 2017 Mark Solomon, Make A Difference Award at ESF’s annual dinner.
